Who we are

Information we collect

  • Email address, only if you choose to save your likes or sign in.
  • Your likes and passes, your queue and the lists you generate.
  • Preferences: baby's sex, styles and vetoed names.
  • Optional: full names of the parents or guardians (to show the baby's name with your last names) and a sibling's name. These stay in the app, visible only to you (and later to your partner), and are never used in analytics, links or shared cards.
  • Technical data: session identifier, language, country, time of use and usage events without personal information.

How we use it

To show names, save your likes, sync across devices, email you a sign-in link and improve the app with aggregate statistics.

Retention

We keep your data while your account exists. Anonymous profiles unused for 12 months are deleted. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, likes, preferences, queue, consents and related events.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you these rights:

  • Categories collected: identifiers (email), preferences and app activity, internet activity (usage events). Purposes are listed above.
  • Right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • Right to delete your personal information (Settings → Delete account).
  • Right to correct inaccurate information (Settings → Edit preferences).
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell or share personal information.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: when it is on, we record no usage events.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Do Not Track and changes

We treat GPC as described above. We will post changes on this page with a new version date.
